Jordanian Society for Desertification Control and Badia Development

Goals:

Stopping desertification resulting from the degrading plant cover and protecting lands used for agricultural purposes from the danger of desertification and its causes, protecting lands used for agricultural purposes from desertification and finding best methods to use surface water and increasing competency of using it in enhancing the fertility of soil, developing the capabilities of pastures in terms of production, deploying national capabilities under a national plan put by the society to plant and protect Jordanian lands from desertification, and contributing to the improvement and development of local environment in the Jordanian Badia and developing pastures and livestock.
