Goals:

Empowering journalists in order to enable them to perform their journalistic message, ensuring the required freedom to accomplish that according to law and within the frame of national and ethical responsibilities; protecting ethics and traditions of the profession and organising its practice to raise its level, training journalists, cooperating with all media and press institutions to spread knowledge and culture, consolidating the relations between Jordanian journalists in order to progress the profession, and settling professional conflicts between them, consolidation and cooperation with the federation of Arab journalists, and Arab and foreign press associations, protecting professional rights of the members and providing social and cultural services for them.
