JD500,000 extended to charities serving PWD

500AMMAN – His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday directed the concerned authorities to extend JD500,000 to 81 societies providing care for 7,810 persons with disabilities (PWD) on the occasion of his birthday, according to a Royal Court statement.

Consistent with the King's initiative, the Ministry of Social Development decided to extend JD117,000 to these societies, according to a ministry statement sent to The Jordan Times yesterday.
