Prince Raad announces 2 studies on integration of PWD
AMMAN — (J.T)- HRH Prince Raad, Chief Chamberlain and president of the Higher Council for the Affairs of Persons with Disabilities (HCD), on Tuesday announced the launch of two studies to foster the rights of people with disabilities (PWD) and contribute to their integration into the community.
During the launch ceremony, marking His Majesty King Abdullah’s birthday, Prince Raad explained that the first study focuses on barriers facing PWD and their integration in the community while the second focuses on the state of disability in Jordan in 2010.
The second study, entitled “Employment and Unemployment Survey”, is conducted in cooperation with the Department of Statistics.
